I HATE WASTE and have a passion for getting things done right the first time! I see myself as an “efficiency guru.” Product improvement and design are fundamental organizational goals in today’s fast-paced work environment and contribute to a more robust bottom line. That is the crucial reason I founded Brain Trust Innovations, where I am the founder and CEO.
We have developed and patented a design that lets medium to large ice cream manufacturers and co-packagers expand their market share using innovative packaging and unique product design in
this highly competitive market. The concept addresses portion control, quality retention, and eco-friendly packaging. The commercial implications are just as impressive. The concept allows for
faster service, greater efficiency, uniform ice cream sizes, and less waste and touches (COVID-19).
These factors contribute to better profit margins in an industry with tight margins. In addition to my current company demands, I am a board member of the Katherine B. Miles and Nancy Mapp Empowerment Foundation in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and an Executive Board member of ReFocus in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Besides my many pursuits, I enjoy traveling with my husband, Edward, and our labradoodle, Chance.
